Transport Positions

Mobile ICU RN requirements

EDUCATION: Registered Nurse, BSN preferred

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Five years of nursing experience in critical care/emergency nursing.  Transport nursing experience preferred.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current State of Ohio Nursing License. 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire.  Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or TNATC, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or their equivalencies to be obtained within initial probationary period.
  • Active, unrestricted Drivers License with no more than 4 accrued points.
  • CEN, CCRN, CFRN or CTRN certification required within first year of employment.
  • EMT-B or EMT-P encouraged

 

Flight RN requirements

EDUCATION: Registered Nurse, BSN preferred.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Five years of nursing experience in critical care/emergency nursing.  Transport nursing experience preferred.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current State of Ohio Nursing License and will need to apply for Indiana and Kentucky Nursing License once hired.  BLS, ACLS, TNCC (or equivalent trauma course) and PALS required.  NRP to be obtained within initial probationary period. 
  • CEN, CCRN, CFRN or CTRN certification required.
  • EMT-B or EMT-P encouraged

 

Paramedic

EDUCATION: Paramedic Certification.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Five years of Emergency Medical Service experience as a Paramedic.  Intra-facility transport experience preferred.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current Ohio Paramedic certification, National Registry preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire. ALS- Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals (ALS-PEPP) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire.  Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or its equivalency(s) to be obtained within initial probationary period.
  • Active, unrestricted Drivers License with no more than 4 accrued points

 

Emergency Medical Technician

EDUCATION: EMT - B Certification, National Registry preferred.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Five years of Emergency Medical Service experience as an EMT- B.  Intra-facility transport experience preferred.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current Ohio EMT-B certification.  National Registry preferred.
  • BLS required.  PEPP-BLS encouraged. 
  • Active, unrestricted Drivers License with no more than 4 accrued points.

 

Communication Specialists Positions

RN Clinical Coordinator

EDUCATION: RN, BSN Preferred

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Five years of nursing experience in critical care/emergency nursing.  Transport experience preferred.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current State of Ohio Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire.  Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or TNATC, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or their equivalencies to be obtained within initial probationary period.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Five Years as a EMT-Paramedic 

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current EMT-Paramedic certification.  National Registry encouraged.
  • National Association of Air-Medical Communications Specialist (NAACS) certification or its equivalency within probationary

 

Mobile Communication Specialist

EDUCATION: High School diploma.  College Degree encouraged.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Five years of Emergency Medical Service experience as an EMT- B.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Current EMT-B certification. 
  • National Association of Air-Medical Communications Specialist (NAACS) certification to be obtained within two years of being hired.
